PLEASE NOTE: Due to Covid-19 concerns, the Furniture Ministry will be suspending operations until March 1. Effective immediately, the ministry will not be accepting referrals or donations until that date. We regret that this is necessary and look forward to resuming operations.
Our mission is to provide good, useful furnishings to those in need, treating each client graciously, with Christian hospitality. Our service area is Alamance County.
SERVE BY BECOMING A VOLUNTEER
The Furniture Ministry Program collects slightly-used furniture and beds to deliver to families who have experienced homelessness, domestic abuse, fire or limited income. These are items that we take for granted each day. This ministry consists of a group of volunteers who work throughout the month to pick up donated furniture and household items in order to deliver the second Saturday of each month. Additional volunteers assist on Saturday morning deliveries from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 noon. All are welcome to attend and assist in a delivery workday.
Would you like to volunteer? Email Furnmin3@gmail.com for more information.
