Our mission is to provide new or gently used furniture to those in need, treating each client graciously, with Christian hospitality. Our service area is Alamance County.
SERVE BY BECOMING A VOLUNTEER
The Furniture Ministry Program collects slightly-used furniture and beds to deliver to families who have experienced homelessness, domestic abuse, fire or limited income. These are items that we take for granted each day. This ministry consists of a group of volunteers who work throughout the month to pick up donated furniture and household items in order to deliver the second Saturday of each month. Additional volunteers assist on Saturday morning deliveries from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 noon. All are welcome to attend and assist in a delivery workday.
Would you like to volunteer? Email email@example.com for more information.
Donations of Household items — We accept new and gently used furniture, bedding, kitchen items, and some small kitchen appliances. We are NOT able to accept pictures, draperies, household décor, clothing, baby equipment, and any items heavily soiled, ripped or damaged. We also do NOT take large appliances and TV’s. You may call the on-call worker at (336) 212-2937 to schedule a donation pick up, or register online. You may also drop off donations during office hours listed below.
